Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) became a deadly weapon which kills thousands of people and destroy assets and infrastructure every year. Moreover, IEDs turned out to be a primary tool of violence in hands of armed groups of terrorists all over the world.
Our mission is to prevent the threat of IED attacks along the approach routs, targeted at your military units, mobile assets and infrastructure .
Typically terrorists place roadside IEDs at nighttime in drains or culverts along rural roads.
ASR seismic sensors are placed in these vulnerable locations ahead of time to record and store data about movement of people and vehicles within the sensor’s detection range.
The convoy travelling along the road carries the CU control unit (a Windows tablet) equipped with the AP access point, which automatically connects to the ASR seismic sensors and the PR photo register once it gets within a predefined range and downloads the stored visual and log data about the intrusion.
The operator can see time, duration and location of suspicious activities and initiate an explosive device disposal procedure.
The UTMS set can be deployed along approach routs to warn your military unit about the activities that may be related to IED placement.
